OceanSTAR is a Differential GPS Positioning System developed for use with Dynamic Positioning Systems.
Using the FUGRO OmniSTAR DGPS Network, OceanSTAR offers reliable and accurate Vessel Positioning over most of the Western Hemisphere. It is particularly useful for Supply Vessels delivering supplies to Offshore Platforms and Drill Rigs. With a DP system using precise positioning data from OceanSTAR, Vessels are able to hold a precise distance and location from a Platform while offloading critical supplies.
OceanSTAR Uses accurate and reliable GPS Receivers. The standard output to the DP system is standard NMEA strings at variable baud rates.
OceanSTAR offers 24/7 live Customer Service From the Houston Control Center. Technicians are also available 24/7 for installations and fast replacements.
