IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - Broadcast Format Change Notice
March 31, 2008

In order to prepare our network for future expansion and more services, we will switch to a new broadcast format soon after March 31, 2008. To receive the new format, you will need to install your Receiver Manufacturer’s latest Firmware. Please check with your receiver manufacturer’s web site for the latest firmware update or contact your local dealer for support. 

We are currently broadcasting both the old and new formats so you may switch any time prior to March 31, 2008. After that date, only the latest Firmware will decode the new format. 

Note that upgrading the firmware of a receiver will cause your current subscription information to be lost. Please make sure you have your current subscription re-sent after upgrading your firmware.  Call OmniSTAR Support to re-send your subscription.
